Overview

Adam Raffo is a trial attorney who handles negligence matters as well as mesothelioma cases for the firm.  He joined Weitz & Luxenberg in 2011 after serving as an assistant district attorney in Nassau County, New York, where he prosecuted and regularly tried cases ranging from misdemeanors to violent felonies. 

Prior to serving as an assistant district attorney, Mr. Raffo showed himself to be an ambitious student during his pursuit of a juris doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law. Mr. Raffo was named to the dean’s list, was awarded the Judge Edward J. Hart Memorial Scholarship for Trial Advocacy, and had emerged as a New York State regional champion in the Texas Young Lawyers Assn.’s National Trial Competition.

He is admitted to practice law in New York and currently is a member of the Nassau County Bar Assn. and the New York State Trial Lawyers Assn.
